Describe your job:
Teaching/Preaching, hospitality, set-up/tear-down, greeters, a little bit of everything but worship and tech.

Describe a normal day:
Normal Day: homeschooling Isaac, mothering, cooking, cleaning, basically a domestic engineer. Not-normal day: preparing the message for Sunday.

Meetings…love ‘em or hate ‘em?
I love meetings! I love connecting with people who have a heart to see lives changed for Jesus in this community.

Favorite accomplishment/project since staring @ Catalyst?
So so so many. I think for me personally though is being able to teach. I love preparing a message that God has spoken through to me. It’s a huge, intimidating responsibility that I hope I don’t screw up.

One thing people don’t realize about Catalyst that they need to know?
We’re a bunch of regular people that try not to hide behind Christianize and perfectionism. We’re all broken, fallen, and messed up folk just trying to live up to who God already sees us: Saints.

Tell us a story of what you’ve seen God do through Catalyst [use more than 10 if you need to].
I’ve seen our community weather storms that should have destroyed us, but instead brought us closer together as a team and family. I’ve seen people entrust and re-trust their lives over to Jesus and begin living in God’s Kingdom of justice, mercy, and humility. I’ve seen hope restored for the Church in a little corner of HumCo

Love em – they usually turn into provoking change.

Favorite accomplishment/project since staring @ Catalyst?
Can’t pick one, they entire catalyst project has been an adventure.

One thing people don’t realize about Catalyst that they need to know?
40% of people who come are skeptical of their faith because of past church experiences.

Tell us a story of what you’ve seen God do through Catalyst [use more than 10 if you need to].
Take people who are broken, humble, messed up, skeptical of faith, doubtful of their past experiences of church, and watch God give them a glimmer of hope that allows them to find a place in the Story of God.
