Home Group

Life is better when we don't do it alone.

Church isn't meant to be something we simply attend. It's something we experience together.

Home Group is a smaller gathering of people from Catalyst who meet in homes throughout the Humboldt area to share a meal, talk about life and faith, explore Scripture, pray, laugh, ask questions, and build real friendships.

You don't have to have it all figured out. You don't have to know the Bible. And you don't have to have the "right" answers.

Just come as you are.

A Place to Belong

Sunday gatherings are a great place to worship and connect, but real relationships take time.

Home Group give us space to slow down and actually get to know one another.

We share stories.
We celebrate the good stuff.
We help each other through the hard stuff.
We ask honest questions.
We pray for each other.
And sometimes we just sit around a table and enjoy being together.

That's what community looks like.

What Happens at a Home Group?

Every group is a little different, but most gatherings include:

Food & Conversation
We eat together, catch up on life, and make room for meaningful conversation.

Scripture & Discussion
We explore the Bible and talk about what it might mean for our lives—not just what it says on a page.

Prayer
We share what's happening in our lives and pray for one another.

Friendship & Community
The people around the table become people you can count on.

Come As You Are

Home Group isn’t about being perfect.

They're a place where you can bring your questions, doubts, struggles, hopes, and experiences. You can be new to faith, reconnecting with faith, or have been following Jesus for years.

There's room for you.

That's okay.

You don't have to commit to anything before you've met the people. Reach out, ask questions, or come check out a group.

You might discover that the thing you've been looking for isn't another event on your calendar.

It might be a group of people around a table.

Gather. Connect. Serve.

We believe following Jesus is something we do together.

Gather with others.
Connect through authentic relationships.
Serve our neighbors and our community.
