Bethany Cseh
Bethany (M.Div) didn’t know she would be a pastor until she’d been “pastoring” for six years. She love preaching, writing, podcasting, and walking with people. She is mom to Isaac, Emmiley, and Antonio. Going to the river, hitting heavy weights at the gym, or dancing in her kitchen brings her joy and fills her spirit. Every morning she wakes up early, brews coffee, leaves her home to pray and listen to scripture and walk and record a TikTok “Walk With Me” devotional. Bethany serves Justice for Josiah and is a Faith Leader with True North Organizing Network. She is also a United Methodist minister.

Jason Cseh
Jason (M.Div) is one of the founding pastors at Catalyst, which began in 2006. His passion is for the local church, specifically working with those on the fringe of their faith. He considers himself a devoted follower of Jesus and believes in justice and redemption for the broken, marginalized, and refugee. Jason is a board member for the Arcata House Partnership and is a General Contractor, helping our community when they need it. He and Bethany were married in 2001 and adopted their three children. He is also a United Methodist minister.
